Laura Leo is a trans, non-binary
performer making a name for themself through their gender-abundant resume. Most notably, they
could be seen across the world playing Anybodys in the International Tour of West Side Story under the direction of Lonny Price, with Jerome Robbins' original choreography set by Julio Monge.
Favorite regional credits include
Regency Girls at The Old Globe under the
direction of Josh Rhodes, Ten Brave Seconds at
Pioneer Theatre Company with choreographer
Reed LuPlau, and Jack & Aiden at the trans-owned Ground Floor Theatre in Austin, Texas. For

Leo grew up in small-town America, and if
you find the several pictures of them in their
father's suits... yes, give a little giggle for
queer youth everywhere.
A band geek and theory enthusiast at heart,
they often find themself collaborating in actor musician spaces. Guitar, ukulele, piano, drums, saxophone... on rare occasions, the triangle...
They play a little bit of everything and a
lot a bit of some things.
In 2022, Laura Leo won Orange County Theatre
Guild's "Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Musical" for their performance in Striking 12! at Chance Theater. In 2024, they received two
B. Iden Payne Award nominations for
Jack & Aiden and Always a Boy.
Good people. Good art.
